Reformation Day Play about Guido DeBres.  Melissa was Margaret of Parma, who was against the Reformation.  

I made her dress from and old sheet, some old curtains and lace and ribbon that was laying around.

Another great weekend with the Gelderman sisters at the Black Diamond Ranch.

I was sewing while the rest were card making.  They make amazing cards!

They were also much more productive than I was.  I made some bibs for my gift stash, some binding and a backing and that's it!.  Oh well, I got plenty of good eating in. :-)

October 11

We spent an amazing day outside in God's Creation!  First stop was the Weaver Creek Spawning Channel, then up the FSR to Weaver Lake where we discovered a 'magical forest' with many different kinds of mushrooms, mosses and interesting lighting.  The kids loved it!  As did Gord and I.  It is good to take time out to marvel at the things God has created.  Just thinking about the life cycle of a salmon is a good reminder that our God, who created the salmon so amazingly, also has an amazing plan for each one of us.
