Outside painting.  A great summertime project.

August 9

Deanna's 9th Birthday.

Daddy was still home on his summer holidays so we had a birthday breakfast and she opened her gifts.  A couple of outfits for her AG doll, one of them made by mommy and a new shirt for school.  She was a happy girl!

August 7

Stopped by Othello Tunnels on the way home.  Found a couple of geocaches and marveled at the power of the Coquihalla River as well as the engineering of the tunnels.

August 5 - 7

We camped for a couple of days at the Black Diamond Ranch which was as usual quite fun, especially for the kids.  Horse Rides, quad rides, 'helping' Uncle Gerald, getting the eggs, playing with the kittens in the barn and playing in the river.

August 5

After a week at Green Lake we packed everything up and drove to Gerald and Carol's place in Kingsvale.  We went the long way, of course.

First a stop at Chasm Provincial Park.  It was worth the stop.  Gorgeous views and a couple of geocaches.  Here we met a cyclist who was cycling from New York City to Alaska.  Quite the journey (and quite the beard!)
