May 9 - got up at 5:30 am, got ready to go, Karen and Mom picked me up at 6:20, drove to ferry, walked on ferry, enjoyed the ride, walked off ferry, hopped on double decker bus, bused it to Victoria, wandered around Victoria, checked out the Papery which was pretty cool, had coffee frappes at Starbucks, walked to Centennial Square, met up with M&J and family and thousands of Pro-Lifers, participated in the March for Life, which was very cool, listened to some speeches at the Parliament Buildings, wandered through them for a bit, did a bit more wandering around Victoria, caught another bus bringing us back to the ferry, had an interesting conversation on the way, got off said bus and waited for the 7 o'clock ferry, got on the ferry, had a wonderful dinner while weaving around the Gulf islands, ended the ferry ride with a gorgeous sunset, then drove home. A very good day indeed.
